Our History

Strong Vend is an independent company providing refreshment services to commerce and industry across the London region since 1980. Our base in London’s Docklands provides excellent access to customers in Greater London.

In January 2005, Strong Vend was honoured to have been granted The Royal Warrant of Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen suppliers of Drinks & Snacks Vending Machines Strong Vend Limited London. Strong Vend is also a member of the Automatic Vending Association (AVA).

We are already seen as leaders within the London Vending industry because of our dedication to quality service and great products. This includes the move to true and ethical fair trade and healthier eating, trends that feature largely on our product list.

Our client list includes some of the most prominent names in the City and West End.

We have worked with many of our clients for over 30 years and we pride ourselves on our ability to respond in a continually changing market by recommending the latest and most cost effective systems available.

    Strongvend is founded in Stratford

  • 1984

    We moved to our Docklands site

  • 1986

    We rolled out a computerised system for our stock control

  • 1995

    We received our ISO 9001 Quality Recognition

  • 2000

    We became a full member of the Automatic Vending association (AVA)

  • 2003

    We achieved the improved ISO 9001:2000 Standard Recognition

  • 2005

    We were awarded and hold the Royal Warrant by Appointment to Her Majesty the Queen Suppliers of Drinks and Snacks Vending Machines Strong Vend Limited London

  • 2009

    We received the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Accreditation Upgrade

  • 2013

    We received the ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Accreditation

  • 2015

    We achieved further re-accreditation under the new combined standards ISO 9001 2015 and ISO 14001 2015

Our accreditations & the Royal Warrant

Our company’s passion for project management and quality resulted in accreditation to the internationally recognised ISO 9001 quality standard in 1995 and we achieved re-accreditation to the improved IS0 9001/2000 standard in 2003. 2009 saw a further upgrade to the improved standard ISO 9001:2008 and further attaining the environmental standard ISO 14001 in 2013 to complement these as we hold our environmental and ethical responsibilities very seriousely.

Strong Vend are extremely proud to have been granted The Royal Warrant from the Royal Household of Her Majesty the Queen on 1 January 2005, as suppliers of Drinks & Snacks Vending Machines Strong Vend Limited London.

Approximately, only 800 companies and individuals hold Royal Warrants, including great names like Aston Martin, Sony and Unilever.
