Strong Vend is leading the way in innovative design and accessibility after creating a user-friendly coffee and hot beverage machine which can be safely operated by people with sight problems.

The bean to cup coffee machine specialist was approached by an existing customer after an increase in the number of blind staff in its workforce.

The survey, carried out by Insight Express, an independent market research firm, found that over 46% of workers left the office for a single reason, to get a good-quality cup of coffee and 48% reported that coffee was not available at the office at all.

Strong Vend is providing an environmentally friendly solution to the use of plastic and wax coated paper cups that are thrown away every day across the UK.

Not all paper cups can be recycled, most have a thin wax coating on the inside to stop the paper from disintegrating. This wax coating makes recycling out of the question.
