In a bid to achieve more efficiency and data integrity Strong Vend will be deploying Symbol MC3090R wireless mobile handheld terminals across all of it's London sites.

Strong Vend, London's leading bean to cup coffee machine providers, partnered with industrial lending software developers 'Purpose Software' to develop this innovative wireless technology. It allows for data capture, stock taking, product checks and machine readings, plus further additional functionalities are planned over the coming year.

The data is transferred via Bluetooth technology and using Orange's data network the data is transported to Strong Vend's secure FTP servers.

Recent field trials have exceeded expectations. Project Manager, Steven Booth comments: "These devices will result in key operational benefits for our business, staff are empowered and are very keen to use the new technology."
