Coffee is considered to be one of the world's most important commodities and apart from water it is the most consumed drink in the world with over 501 billion cups consumed every year. In general, coffee is grown within 1000 miles of the equator from the Tropic of Cancer to the Tropic of Capricorn. Despite being discovered in Ethiopia as early as the 9th century, the majority of coffee now produced is in Central and South America, with Brazil being the biggest contributors cultivating 30% of the world's coffee. In the UK alone, it is estimated that we drink 70 million cups of coffee per day. Established in 1980, Strong Vend are leaders in the London Coffee Vending Industry and know all about the important role coffee plays in people's lives and have set themselves apart from competitors by taking pride in their ethical positioning and the quality of their products as highlighted by their internationally recognized accreditation as an ISO 9001:2008.
